For a nominal additional fee of $99, APCA offers basic certification programs for students and advisors attending the Savannah Workshop.  These programs are:

Certified Programming Advisor Curriculum:

The APCA workshop will offer our basic advisors certification program, CPAC™ (Certified Programming Advisor Curriculum). This program will offer various seminars on basic professional development at a nominal additional charge.  Certificates of completion, logo shirts and insignias pins will be awarded to CPAC participants. Some of the more advanced topics addressed will be:

• Writing Student Outcomes For Your Programs
• Latest theory on Data Collection and Interpretation

The Certified Student Programmer Curriculum:

 (CSP) is a comprehensive introductory course in student programming. APCA has long viewed the comprehensive development of student leaders as a vital component of a successful student activities program at all colleges regardless of institution size and budget. The Certified Student Programmer Curriculum is a program to ensure that students receive the basic training that is necessary for a successful student activities programming board effort.

Formal testing of the CSP participants will be held at the conclusion of the certification sessions. The results will be released to the individual students by that are designated with the CSP indicator. Students will receive an APCA logo Tshirt, a lapel pin denoting their status as a CSP graduate and a certificate of recognition for their achievement.
