When Blacks addressed White people, the customary response was the latter.  Carl was beaten severely for his disrespect.  An hour later, the man went to Carl's home and shot his father eight times as Carl helplessly watched.  Carl proclaims the best day of his life was the day he forgave the murderer.  He attributes the act of forgiving as saving his life, and setting him free.  This session will answer questions and provide insight regarding forgiveness.
